The UK Wild Boar Trust was founded in 2012, with an aim to help wild boar thrive, and peacefully cohabit with humans, and other wildlife, in natural habitats across the UK. We are made up of volunteers, wildlife conservationists and local residents, all with a deep passion for these amazing animals.
Our aim is to enhance the safe understanding of this animal around the UK and ensure that they are managed only when necessary and humanely at all times. We also want to help educate those who may interact with wild boar on how to behave around these special animals to make every interaction a positive memory and minimise the chances of any negative interactions.
We are constantly looking for new ways to help educate about the boar and ensure their wellbeing, unfortunately this all costs money, we are a non-profit focus group and run on donations. If you would like to help financially please donate via paypal ->>
You can now join us on Facebook and Twitter for discussions about the wild boar :
We want you to send us all your boar stories and pictures; we will add all pictures of the boar in their natural habitat and that do not give away locations to our readers picture gallery -> Readers Boar Gallery. Keep checking back for new features or email us at
Thank you for your support.

Please remember to pass on any information that you may have in relation to possible poachers to the police. If you see anything that strikes you as being suspicious, just dial 101 and report it. If you see what you believe to be an offence taking place, dial 999.
Above all, do not put yourselves in any danger. Let the police respond and deal with ALL incidents.
